Honda S2000 F20C Oil Cooler Kit

This is a kit of parts required to install an oil cooler to a Honda S2000 engine

The installation is quite simple and uses a sandwich plate into a remote oil filter housing then connected into the oil cooler and then back in to the return of the sandwich plate.

 

1. Remove the existing oil filter and fit the sandwich plate to the engine block with the outlets facing towards the front of the car.

2. Mount the remote oil filter toward the front of the vehicle between the oil cooler and the sandwich plate.

3. Using the included brackets, mount the oil cooler (with the outlets towards the bottom) on the front of the radiator making sure not to interfere with the nose cone.

4. Connect the BSP to AN-10 fittings into the sandwich plate (both top and bottom fittings)

5. Connect a straight AN-10 fitting to the braided hose

6. Fit a 90 degree AN-10 fitting to the other end of the braided hose, this then connects into the remote oil filter (flow)

7. Fit a 90 degree AN-10 fitting to the end of another piece of braided hose from the remote oil filter.

8. Fit a 90 degree AN-10 fitting to the end of this braided hose and connect this to the oil cooler (uk passenger side)

9. cut the last piece of braided hose to go between the return of the sandwich place and the oil cooler and fit the remaining 90 degree AN-10 fittings to both ends
