Caterham Superlight 2009 - Ex BBC Top Gear Stig (R50O TG)

This vehicle started off life as the R300 Duratec factory demonstrator vehicle which was red with white stripes. Pictured in of the Magnificent Seven book by Chris Rees, this vehicle was then transformed by Caterham into a sister car of the BBC Top Gear car which was subsequently used by Clarkson, Hammond and May at Top Gear Live across the globe. The sale also includes the R500 Top Gear number plate. There is also a letter of authenticity from Caterham confirming this.

More recently this vehicle has undergone a restoration replacing the body panels and repainting the vehicle in pearlescent white. All wishbones have been re powder coated, new rear brake calipers, new bushes all round.
