Season’s greetings everyone. We thought we would take the time now to wish all our friends, family, customers, dealers and suppliers a very merry Christmas and a happy new year.
What a year it's been for MK Sportscars and Kitcardirect! We thought we would highlight some of the things we have been up to this year and thank all the people involved, there are too many to mention individually, who have helped us progress to where we are today and we are very excited about what will be happening in 2019. To summarise 2018:
RX-5
To start of the year we pretty much completed the Indy RX5 project that debut at Stoneleigh 2017, This car was then shown at a very successful Stoneleigh 2018 show of which we had our new simulator in action, which still is very popular when customers visit us.
French Dealer & Race Series
We are very proud also to announce that our new French dealer Carmaislight http://www.carmaislight.com/ (Laurent) is on board with us, and supplying cars into France to run in the Championship in the below dates,

MK Sportscars Trackday
Our first trackday at Blyton park was a huge sucess and what a great day that was. To see so many great cars and people, of whom we consider as friends as well as customers. It was such a pleasure seeing everyone explore what their cars can do on track. Collaboration With Education
Another 1st for us was to join up with East Kent College and Colchester Institute, of which we have supplied 3 cars to them for their development programs; this is great news for the industry and for the next generation of skilled mechanics.
Workshop
We have moved into new premises, which are more suitable for what we want to achieve in 2019. With more factory builds on board, a step up in production and stock levels required, the time came to take on more space. Although only 4 weeks into our move we are making headway into sorting out the space, our phone number has finally been moved over to the new address, although we will be continuing to use the Kit Car Direct number for both KCD and MK.
We also invested in some new equipment so we can offer corner weighting and 4 wheel alignment to our customers; please contact us if you want to discuss options for your car.
Suppliers
As we said earlier, we are proud also to work with many new suppliers this year who support us and help us deliver a great product to our customers, we have over 300 suppliers now, you know who you are so thank you for your support,
