MK Indy – 2000 model
Rob bought the car in April 2018. It had a complete strip down and repaint. Brough up to IVA standard and put on the road June 2019.
The car first engine was a Crossflow 1600 with weber carbs. Until last year she was about the road. With some small modifications to meet MSA rules she was ready to hill climb. We got the interclub license and Rob gathered the 6 signatures needed to upgrade the license to a national.
After an engine change January 2023 to a Zetec 2.0ltr with 45 weber carbs, the car is now ready to hill climb. A season opener at Shelsley Welsh got the car scrutineered before we got ready to start the Midland Hill Climb Championship 2023. The class entered is Class Bb Road Cars Specialist Production Cars. The times that weekend just got quicker with Rob doing a PB of 35.96.
The opening round at Prescott saw a steady start to the champion ship with the best time on the Sunday at 54.91 over 1128 yards. The sun came out finally on the Sunday at Through the Eye of Ollie Photography came to take some stunning pictures. A very talented 10 year old. https://www.instagram.com/throughtheeyeofoli/
